When Front Street approached GIOTAN ahead of their recent relocation, they had two main goals: to create a space that better suited their corporate identity and that was based on a more compact layout in order to better facilitate communication between teams. (Their previous office was spread out over two floors.)

GIOTAN developed a space that was both modern and whimsical. We created a stone-clad central core reminiscent of a typical Canadian cottage using acrylic panels embedded with genuine branches and a fireplace whose mantel was created from a barn beam that belonged to one of Front Street's partners. At the same time, we maximized the use of exterior glass in order to provide more natural lighting in staff work areas.
