Sidney Tan: Partner and Director of Design

Ryerson grad Sidney has a Bachelor of Applied Arts in interior design and has been part of GIOTAN for a decade.

Currently, Sidney consults with tenants who want to relocate or redesign their current offices. He's also involved in developing design concepts and in project management. He especially enjoys uncovering creative solutions to client challenges.

"Every day and every project is different," he says. "The solutions, while sometimes similar, are almost always applied in different ways for different jobs. Ultimately, we never know what challenges are coming around the corner--and that's exciting. As far as client service is concerned, we're always aware that, no matter how well we did yesterday, we need to be even better tomorrow."

Sid's free-time passions include playing soccer in the summer, playing squash in the winter and, at any time of the year, playing with his Westie, Lola. And with apologies to his neighbours, Sid's also learning to play guitar.
